Specialty Camps

All of the specialty camps have latchkey available for $3.00 per hour.  Latch key is from 7:00 am-10:00 am and then from 4:00pm-6:00 pm.  Please see our punch card policy for latchkey.  All Specialty Camps have a field trip or special event planed each week.  If the camp has a field trip or needs to be moved to a different site the campers will be transported by school bus.  A weekly schedule will be handed out on Monday morning.

Eco Expedition
Explore the great outdoors through this week long camp.  Campers will learn how to build a camp fire, fish, set up a tent, and enjoy the great out doors.  This week of adventure will keep your campers on their toes, learning how to use a compass, use a map, and enjoy hiking the trails.

Totally Talented
Get ready to show off your artistic and creative side. Awaken your curiosity about the performing arts.  This week at camp we will explore many different areas of the performing arts.  Doing something different each day; activities may include skits, T.V. game shows, theater make-up, karaoke, talent shows, and much more.   We are looking for kids who want to have fun!

Around the World with a Passport of Fun
Travel the world in just four days! In one week you will become an international know-it-all. We will be making crafts, playing games, learning fun facts and eating foods from the five chosen countries. Stay tuned to find out which of your favorite countries we choose * No Camp on Mon. July 5

“Art”ragious Art
This camp brings out the creativity in your camper.  They will spend the week making tons of different “art”ragious craft projects.  We will have something for everyone.  Be prepared to get messy and have lots of fun!

I Spy A Scientist!
 "Eye of newt, hair of toad—we really hope you don't explode!" Journey to our camp for proving or disproving myths, microscopes and telescopes, secret science formulas, and other cool science projects!

Disney Days
Come be a part of your favorite Disney movies. Each day will be a different adventure through your favorite magical land. There will be games, snacks, crafts, and costumes. On Friday,  Dress-up as your favorite Disney Character for the Disney Dance Party.

Amazing Race
For those kids that love a challenge. Partner up with a friend or two and try to be the winning team. The week will be composed of different games, obstacles and road blocks. By the end of the week there will be a winning team. Be ready to run, think, and get dirty!

Ker-Splat! Ka-Boom!
Calling all ingenious inventors! Campers will perform experiments all day, all week long!  They will get their hands messy and their minds wondering in some fun filled activities.  Some of our activities can easily be recreated at home to impress friends or relatives.  Campers will get down to the nitty gritty of science and watch some cool demonstrations!  Join us for a great week of exploration!

The Fire & EMS Academy
Join the Rochester Hills Fire Department for a week!  All campers will go through a Middle School age fire and EMS academy.  See what it’s like to be a fire fighter and EMS worker.  This camp is designed to give youth a working knowledge of the Rochester Hills Fire Department, EMS and Safety Education.  Each day you will cover a different area of the fire department and EMS Training.  Half of one day will be abduction prevention training. Some other topics may be trucks, fire safety, equipment training, and much much more!
