My Start in Sports

 This is a developmentally appropriate introductory sports program for children 1-3 years old. The program prepares children and their parents for organized sports in a fun, non-threatening environment. Sports skills developed in this program are: gross motor skills, throwing, catching, team skills, and more! Parents are asked to participate in this class with their child.

Mondays in April 6:00-6:45 for 1-3 years with parent in RARA Fieldhouse $40/child

Watercolor Workshop

Join Paint Creek Center for the Arts for a St. Patrick's Day themed Watercolor Workshop. In this themed class, we'll start by covering basic techniques of watercolor, then move on to color mixing, and finally we'll learn about resist. Parents please stay for the duration of this class as our students will need help working on their fine motor skills. All supplies included

Clay Creations


Join Paint Creek Center for the Arts for a clay workshop. In this class, we will explore color mixing and working on find motor skills while creating with air dry clay. Parents please stay for the duration of this class as our students will need help working on their fine motor skills. All supplies included

3-6 Years Judo

Judo classes are taught by a certified USJF black belt with over 30 years of teaching experience, including 7 years in adaptive programming for peoples with special needs. Class emphasizes safety and respect for others while being fun as well. Beginner Judokas will learn to fall safely, as well as master the fundamentals of basic Judo (throwing and pinning; there are no kicks and punching) and can eventually earn belt ranks. Just wear long sleeve sweats tops and bottoms. Gis (uniforms) can be purchased from the instructor when the participant decides on a gi.

Pets Palooza STEAM Camp

Wag on over to the most PAWSOME camp in town! You and your tribe will open your own pet businesses and engineer your own pet world, from pet playgrounds to grooming spas to food and treat trucks to posh pet homes to veterinarian offices. This STEAMtastic camp is a must for every pet-loving kid! In addition, for students who sign up for both morning and afternoon camp, they are welcome to bring a sack lunch and hang out with our STEAM-professional instructors for the lunch hour at no extra cost, where we'll provide some additional activities, or some well-earned downtime as needed.

Superhero STEAM Camp

 Wham! Bam! Pow! Kaboom! Calling all Super STEAM Kids to a high-flying Challenge Island experience! You and your tribe will channel your extraordinary powers into a universe of challenges inspired by your favorite Super STEAM Hero and SHero characters. This incredible camp promises to be a Super Duper and unforgettable adventure for every boy and girl. In addition, for students who sign up for both morning and afternoon camp, they are welcome to bring a sack lunch and hang out with our STEAM-professional instructors for the lunch hour at no extra cost, where we'll provide some additional activities, or some well-earned downtime as needed.

Wiggly World of Worms

This workshop provides preschoolers ages 4-6 with an opportunity to get their hands dirty while learning all about worms. We will be working with magnifying glasses to get an up-close look at the lives and habits of worms. This workshop will be hosted by Mad Science of Detroit.

On The Loose: Penguins and Monkeys STEAM Workshop


Join us for a Kids' Night Out where we'll have fun with two of the coolest animals around! We'll start out chilly Antarctica and learn about how penguins stay warm and move around, then we'll create our own penguin sleds and race against each other down the slopes! After that, we'll head to Agra, India to learn about the Taj Mahal, then we'll help the monkeys at the Taj build their own playground to call home!

Summer Wild Rides: Pirates and Coasters


Join us for a special evening out for kids, where we'll take on the roles of car designers and roller coaster engineers to create some cool new ways to get around! Our first adventure will be to design and build pirate ships that race like the wind, then we'll create our own gravity-defying roller coasters, complete with a twist, turns and even loop-de-loops.

Xtreme Sports STEAM Camp


Join us on Saturday mornings this summer, where each week we'll learn about the history and stars behind the world's greatest sports, and then build our own stadiums, courts, and fields to bring those sports to life! You can sign up for just the weeks that work for your schedule, or join us for the entire series at a discount. Here's the sports we'll be tackling each week:
Week 1 - International Sports: Soccer and Croquet (July 17)
Week 2 - Olympic Sports - Luge and Archery (July 24)
Week 3 - Race Day - NASCAR and Windracing (July 31)
Week 4 - Sports Superstars - Golf and Tennis (August 7)
