Parents and children will enjoy this popular class experience and spend some special one on one time with your child!  During class time, parents or caregivers are required to interact and participate with their child during all of the following activities: free play, group activities, songs, crafts, music and movement, and snack time.  Young children (12-18 months) will enjoy an organized playtime with mom or dad while meeting new playmates.

This program is designed for a child’s first time experience in a preschool setting.  Children enjoy sensory tables, games, story time, songs and group activities.  We help them develop vital social and pre-K skills.  Weekly themes focus on learning numbers, alphabet, and days of the week, science and literature.  Snacks and juice are included.  Parents please sign up for one day to be a parent helper at the first day of class.  Every child loves to see one of their parents in their classroom! 

Children must be potty trained; no pull-ups allowed.  Sign up for once or twice a week!

Parents, enjoy a toddler class with your children.  Infants and children ages 1 to 5 years are welcome.  This is a great way to attend a toddler class if you have more than one pre-K child.  This class has the same format as the parent/toddler class.  Each child that is/will be walking during the duration of class and/or will be participating in any activities must be registered separately. Only infants in carriers are free (usually 0-6 months), but please note on registration if you will be bringing a child in a carrier.

You MUST be registering more than one child (or bringing an infant in a carrier) to register for this class.

Your child is guaranteed to have a great time at these fun By-Myself events!  Parents do not stay and child must be potty trained.  Don’t miss out! Spots are limited and will fill fast.  All classes are held at the RARA Toddler Room, 104 E. Second Street and are taught by Amy Weghorst.

Mommy & Me

If you're little one isn't ready for events on their own, sign them up for the Mommy & Me classes. Mommy & Me events will include the same party themes, just the activities changed a bit for the little ones.

Calling all princesses!  This princess tea party will include crafts, games, stories, and eating snacks from an actual tea set that all princesses dream of! Parents please feel free to dress up your little princess for this party.

Come and join us for this fun filled party celebrating pumpkins! During this class your child will have a blast decorating their very own pumpkin to take home, making a delicious "pumpkin" treat to eat and playing some fall inspired games.

Join us for a Not-So-Spooky and fun Halloween Party!  We will celebrate Halloween by making crafts, a story, a spooky snack surprise and games!  Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume. Each child will receive a trick or treat bag to take home too!

Your little chef will prepare a yummy (and healthy) breakfast to eat during class, help set the table, eat with their friends and even help do the dishes!

Join us for a thankful Thanksgiving Party! Children will enjoy singing and dancing to the “Turkey Pokey”.  They will also create their own very special turkey to decorate the Thanksgiving table with. The party will be filled with free play time , stories, games and a snack. 

During this super fun activity class your child will be able to decorate delicious cookies for the holidays.  Your child will also join in some yuletide cheer by singing songs, playing some festive games and eating some of our creations!

Join us to celebrate the holiday season. Children will make reindeer food to put out for Rudolph as well as create ornaments to decorate their trees. They will enjoy story time, games, playtime  and a holiday snack. A good time will be had by all.

Calling all little elves!!  During this workshop, your little one will be busy creating, and wrapping a Christmas gift for a loved one of their choice.  We will also be eating a yummy holiday snack, singing some Christmas songs and playing some fun holiday inspired games. Each class will feature a different gift so come twice to make 2 gifts!

Do your kids love helping out in the kitchen?  If so this night is for them!  During this by myself class your child will get to create a tasty dinner using their cooking skills, then eat it while making some new friends!  Parents- use this time to go out to dinner, or get some early holiday shopping in! Each week a different tasty dinner will be focused.

Tunes for Tots offers fun, easy, and effective early childhood music classes for children.  The classes are centered on First Steps in Music, an innovative, research-based curriculum formed by John Feierabend, a national leader in early childhood music education.  In class, you and your child will bond as you explore with musical instruments, learn traditional folk songs and rhymes, and participate in fun beat and movement activities.  These personalized musical experiences will accelerate your child's development in song, rhythm, and expressiveness.  Tunes for Tots will fill your little one with a sense of wonder, imagination, and musical intuition that he or she can enjoy throughout life!

Preschoolers are so eager to learn. Young Rembrandts instructors provide a positive, nurturing environment for your child. Each week we will draw something new. We will talk about the subject matter as we learn to draw it together. We will concentrate not only on the skills of drawing and coloring, but also work on developing fine motor skills. We will practice on focusing, listening, staying on task, learning spatial organization and patience. All materials provided.
