Back to School Confidence Camp

Boys will have intense fun being physically active while learning social skills, friendship skills, being empowered, building confidence and bully-proofing themselves. This camp is specifically designed to give the boys tools, skills and a game plan for walking back into school with confidence and a positive attitude. Games, Olympic challenge courses, role playing,
educational activities, fitness activities and going on nature hikes will all be part of the fun of teaching how to take advantage of one’s strengths and learn to manage one’s weaknesses.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Girls and Boys will have fun learning about how to be yourself and deal with everyday meanness and bullying. Kids will learn to manage the pressure of trying to popular and instead focus on being themselves. Kids will learn how to be assertive and not aggressive or passive through cartooning,playing games, and fun activities. They will learn how to handle conflict and problem solve with confidence. Camp includes daily physical activity, games, crafts and learning lessons from watching the Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Empowered Through the World of Dr. Seuss (Ages 4-6)

Using favorite books from Dr. Seuss such as The Lorax Project, Oh The Places You will Go, The Thinks you Can Think!, and Horton Hears a Who kids will learn about personal power, dreams, being themselves and using their voice to speak up for themselves and others. Kids will make fun crafts including a “Cat in the Hat” Hat, Horton the Elephant and Truffula Trees. Daily fitness, games and crafts each day!

American Girl & “Being Me” with Girls Empowered

Using the stories and movies of the American Girl Dolls Kit, Molly, Samantha, and Felicity girls will learn about how to determine who they want to be in life. They will learn how to believe and have confidence in themselves and use their power to build others up, themselves up and to make an impact on the world. Girls bring their dolls to play and role play with them. Camp includes matching girl/doll crafts, role playing, and daily fitness activities.

Finding the Warrior Within, Kung Fu Panda with Boys Empowered

Boys will have fun learning about believing in yourself and find the their strength.  Boys will learn how to connect with their inner warrior by gaining an understanding of how to manage and express their emotions, deal with meanness and conflict, and build confidence. Includes lessons through watching the Kung Fu movie.
