Non Recital Classes

Tiny Toes

This exciting first dance class will help little ones develop basic loco motor skills, listening skills, rhythm and the ability to follow movement patterns through creative dance and song.  Class is taught using props such as rhythm instruments, shapes, colors, hoops and more.  Concepts such as space, shape and energy are explored as children begin to dance!  Potty trained or “almost” – pull-ups O.K.  Girls: Pink leather ballet shoes, leotard and tights. Boys: Black Ballet shoes, shorts and tank top.  Child must be able to separate from parent and remain in the classroom independently. No class Nov 22 & 24.

Boy Power

Boys warm up and get those muscles movin’!  Here’s a really fun class!  Tumbling, gross motor skills, and coordination are developed in BOY POWER.  Class will incorporate props such as floor mats, floor balance beams, jump ropes, mini tram and more.  Purposeful gross motor skills games will be introduced.  Wear comfortable clothes and light weight gym shoes.

Acrobatics-Beginning

Acrobatics-Intermediate

This class is for students who have mastered beginning level stunts.  (See beg level class desc.)  Students will learn back bends,  one handed cartwheels, round-offs, backward and forward walkovers, front and back limbers, pike rolls, back handsprings, and other intermediate level acrobatic students.  Students are required to be enrolled in either and jazz or ballet class.  Dress Code:  Leotard and no shoes (barefoot).
